“You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.” – C.S. Lewis

Hello everyone! Welcome to BT&R! Here you will find book reviews from reader’s point of view.

My name is Yesha. (25+)

I’m from India.

I am simply a reader, just like you, who love to read with always a cup of tea in hand. I am no critic.

My actual reading passion started with a book- No, it was not Harry Potter- “Next by Michael Crichton” since 2015. Unusual choice right! I am qualified pharmacist, so that explains I think. And wait! After that I picked “The Lord of the Rings series”- At this point I realized, I couldn’t keep myself from reading. So, there always will be a soft corner for LOTR. I read then many famous and different types of books (yes, including Harry Potter).

I thought about starting this blog because I wanted to take my love for reading to another level. I like to discuss books and read reviews and I love to hear what fellow readers feel for the books I already read.

What I read? I can’t help myself trying various genres and challenging books. So, I read almost anything with interesting stories whether it is book or short story.

My reading taste has grown more diverse and still developing. But, my all-time favorite genres are-

  • YA
  • Fantasy
  • Fiction
  • Mythology (I simply love mythology)
  • Mystery
  • Paranormal
  • Suspense & Thriller.

I really enjoy fast-paced books. If the book is fast-paced and from one of the genres I mentioned above, Hurrah! It definitely will be in my reading list.

Least Interested:

  • Erotica
  • Non-Fiction
  • Poems

My all-time favorite books:

  • The Mortal Instruments
  • The Lunar Chronicles
  • The Book Thief
  • Percy Jackson and the Olympians
My reviews are usually sectioned into – About, Main theme, Characters, What I liked, and What I didn’t like.
All reviews will be spoiler free.
My rating style:
5 star_crop5/5— Excellent! (Don’t bother to see reviews. Kidding! Read my    reviews.) I will recommend  to everyone. No didn’t like section.

4 star_crop 4/5— Enjoyed reading it. One or very minor points I didn’t like but Loved the book!

3 star crop 3/5—  I liked it. But not in list of favorites. Several points I didn’t like but overall a Good read.

2 star_crop2/5— Good Concept but not rest of the things. I’m glad I read till the end.

1 star_crop1/5— No! No! No! Didn’t like it. Don’t ask me why. Whole review might be a didn’t like section. I’m thinking why I read it!
