My favorite line from the book:

Blurb-

Meet 3 Piglettes of the book- Mireille (15 and half), Astrid (16) and Hakima (9). These Piglettes are the winner of ‘Pig Pageant’ contest i.e. awarded ugliest girls of the school. After contest they meet each other, they feel real bad for receiving such treatment. But they decide to do something rather than just sobbing. They plan cycle trip to Paris, to gatecrash a garden party at Elysées. Each has different reasons in doing so. They involve media for their Paris trip too.

This is total coincidence that I’m reviewing this book on father’s day. 🙂 The book in which Anna is going on adventure to save her father.

Wandering Witch is second book of the series ‘Diary of Anna the Girl Witch’.

Blurb (in my words):

Just after the few weeks of saving children of orphanage, while she was enjoying her vacation in Tuscany, Anna receives a letter from her uncle Misha saying that her father is in danger, only she can save him and for that she needs to return Siberia, her birthplace. Never met or known anything about her father before, family love she craved for all her life, leads her back to Siberia. And this time Lauraleigh, her best friend accompanies Anna on this adventure.

Blurb (in my words)

Rachel aka Raya is 15 old teenage foster girl living with Angie under care of new social worker Bryony. Life was not so lovely for her, grandparents were the only one truly she ever loved. After their death it was difficult for her to live with her schizophrenic mother. She was having some visions but never tells anyone about it and she too have disorder like her mother. On a whim of living independent life she runs away from the foster care. After few unfortunate events she meets Pavel, who is integrator and tells her she is one too – a Witch! When her foster friend is hospitalized in critical state, she does her first time travel and ends up during the Essex Witch Trials period in 1645 England, along with talking cat, Oscar and Bryony.

What will this trio experience in 1645 the worst period for witch in history? Why they travelled to that period only? Will Raya learn to control her power? Will they return back to 21st century safely?
